Market Rabbit Rules

  1. All recognized meat breeds of rabbits will be eligible.
  2. Market rabbits are shown as a pen of three (3) fryers. There will be a minimum weight of 3 (three) lbs. and a maximum of 5 (five) lbs. and not more than sixty-nine (69) days old for each fryer.
  3. All rabbits will be sifted at weigh-in.
  4. The American Rabbit Breeders Association Rules will apply.
  5. Each market rabbit must be clearly and permanently earmarked in the RIGHT ear by the Validation Committee on the January 10, 2009  between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Before check in, rabbits must be permanently tattooed in the left ear with identification letters and / or numbers.
  6. There will be a Grand Champion and Reserve Champion "Pen of Three" Rabbits.
